White Whale BIF III: Revenge of the Revengeful

The Requirements

• For the Purposes of this BIF a White Whale will be defined as: a small bottle release with tons of hype that you would have to trade half your cellar for, a retired beer that hasn't moved from your cellar in years, a beer only available in one store in Europe, an old vintage of a yearly limited release... You get the idea. If you are not willing to part with the goods then do not apply.
• You must have at least 10 trades with solid references.
• MAXIMUM 12 beers to be sent, so those 12 bottle shippers will come in handy and allow those involve to focus on QUALITY.
• 1 Whale that is prescreened for approval
• 3 Top 100, two of which must have more wants than gots (tanned whales if you will)
• 3 Top Buzzed
• 1-5 Wants/Should Wants/Quality Locals/etc...
• Also, a T-Shirt is mandatory for this one so include your shirt size
• Lastly, borrowing an idea from the Poker BIF, once accepted to this BIF, you will be required to send an Ante. The ante beer should also be of quality and worthy of being cellared, sorry no IPAs, and again you must let me know before hand what you plan to send as the ante. So please include that with your list of whales.
• The ante beers will be collected and split into three boxes. Once all of the hauls are received we will vote on the three most outrageous boxes and those senders will receive a bonus box!!! Just a little extra incentive to put together great boxes.
• Once all the boxes have landed, each participant will send a beermail to grub and indicate what their vote is for the top 3 boxes. each 1st place vote will earn the sender 3 points, 2nd place votes will earn 2 points, and 3rd place votes will earn 1 point. in the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by grub. all voting will remain anonymous and total scores only will be posted.
• each participant should also cast a vote for the recipient most deserving of the "consolation prize". this can be done at the same time as casting your 1st-3rd vote.
• winners will receive beers as follows:
  • 1st place- choice of 8
  • 2nd- choice of 6
  • 3rd- choice of 4
  • consolation prize- remaining 4
