Gang Bang BIF

The rules:

350 oz. minimum.
Treat this as you would a local tasting…everyone brings something to the party…but you will put the bottles into boxes and send it off to another state where another tasting group will be waiting. I think a good rule of thumb will be to have each participant bring a local(ish) contribution and a bottle off of a want list from someone in your target group.
To assure that everyone in the group gets a taste of each beer, bottles should be 22oz or larger (unless multiples are included). However…anything uber-rare will always be welcomed.
Organize a collection/packaging party in the 2nd or 3rd week of June to get the boxes ready for shipping (doubles as a tasting party…how convenient!). Target ship date is the week of June 19th. Obviously shot-gun style...
Hold a tasting in July for the official opening of the boxes. Whoever receives the package must show self restraint and wait until then to crack the tape. The whole group deserves to feel that “Christmas morning” excitement…
At the July opening/tasting, have someone take pics of the haul and notes on what the general group thoughts were on the contents and post the results…strictly for fun
The target shipping date is sometime around Father's Day, so the week of June 19th.
